WHY URETHANE GROUTING WITH SUPERIOR STRUCTURAL SOLUTIONS

how to fill voids under concrete slabs with urethane grout

Superior Structural Solutions performs urethane grouting differently than other companies. We understand that each application is different. The application needs to fit the problem as a very specific solution. Other companies pump grout that will start expanding the moment it leaves the nozzle during the application. The urethane grout we use is different. We control the amount of accelerator and therefore we can adjust when the grout expansion and set time occur. We want the grout to pump down and into voids and then start to expand. This allows us to be much more efficient and control the process in a much better way.

THE BENEFITS OF URETHANE FOAM

  1. It is a stable and long-lasting solution.
  2. When you use a urethane-based grout it “cures” quickly. You can utilize that space almost immediately after the application.
  3. It can be used to stabilize soils. Straight polyurethane (that used to solely raise concrete) will only fill voids.
  4. The process is minimally evasive. A small-diameter hole is drilled into the concrete and the grout is pumped through that hole.
  5. Our urethane grouts are extremely versatile. You can reach voids that would be impossible to get to with the straight polyurethane lifting foams. Our team controls the mix of the grout. This allows us to control the set/expansion time of the foam after it is injected into the void. Imagine the void is long, narrow, and shallow. We can delay the time of expansion so the grout will travel into and throughout that void before it expands.

WHEN TO USE URETHANE GROUTING

There are commercial, municipal, and residential applications for the use of urethane grouting. From sealing leaks to filling voids under concrete. The applications are endless.
