For internal water management systems to function correctly, especially in crawlspaces, typically a large amount of water must build up in the pipe before flow to the sump pump occurs (if there is a sump pump in the system).
This means that sometimes the water never makes it to the pump. Consequently, the water you wanted removed may still be within your crawl space or basement!
While proper testing and maintenance of sump pumps can help with identifying problems and the need for repairs, you may want to talk to us further about your sump pump. Water problems lead to foundation problems, which you definitely do not want!
